Security Alert: Important Alert about MasterCard Debit Cards and Visa Credit Cards.

First Command Bank has been notified of a debit and credit card data compromise at a third-party payment processor. While the investigation is still underway, we are actively monitoring the situation and taking steps to safeguard account information. If your First Command Bank debit or credit card has been affected, we will contact you directly. Due to heightened security procedures, if you attempt to pay with your MasterCard debit card as "credit" and the transaction is declined, please repeat the transaction as "debit" using your PIN. This will generally allow your transaction to be processed.

We encourage you to actively monitor your accounts for any suspicious transactions. If you do suspect fraudulent transactions:

• During regular business hours contact First Command Bank immediately by sending a secure message in OnCommand™ or MobileCommand™ with “FRAUD” in the subject line or calling us at 888.763.7600.
• After business hours, report MasterCard debit card fraud to 800-887-0555, or if you are Overseas call 972-677-6521 or report Visa credit card fraud to 800-423-7503.

Also, please keep in mind to be especially wary of potential scams at times like this. If you receive a telephone, e-mail or text message about your debit or credit card and you are unsure of its validity, please call First Command Bank directly at 888.763.7600 to confirm the legitimacy of the issue. Remember, we will never ask you for your card number for verification.
