MasterCard SecureCode® Online Purchase Security
To help protect you from unauthorized use of your Debit MasterCard® at online merchant sites, MasterCard encourages you to register your debit card and create a private code (SecureCode) that you will enter at checkout each time you use your Debit MasterCard at a participating online merchant.
The MasterCard SecureCode service is designed to improve the security of online payment transactions and reduce fraud by confirming your identity as the authorized cardholder prior to completion of an online payment transaction.
How to register with MasterCard SecureCode
Follow this link to register with MasterCard SecureCode. You’ll enter your Debit MasterCard number and create a personal profile, including your private SecureCode.
During future online purchases, the MasterCard SecureCode receipt will pop up, displaying your purchase details and asking you to identify yourself with your unique card number and SecureCode. In addition, a personal greeting you selected during registration will also appear to assure you that you’re viewing a genuine First Command Bank receipt. When the receipt appears, you’ll identify yourself with a unique password, confirm the details and click "Submit."
That’s it! A “thank you” page will appear, confirming that your purchase is complete. You can easily track transactions with the MasterCard SecureCode Personal Account Manager.
